There are many benefits to not sending metal instruments to incineration and landfill including:- - A reduction of your incineration costs

Our introduction of the Bio-Bin is again to help you save time, money and space. The Bio-Bin comes in various sizes to accomodate clinical waste. It is produced from nylon lined cardboard both inside and out . inside there is an absorbent mat that will turn any small amount of residue fluid into gel. The Bio-Bin can be delivered flat packed e.g. 100 Bio-Bins can be stored in a box 15" x 30" (37.5cm x 75cm). This is an incredible saving of space compared to a Sharps container. The Bio-Pax system allows single use items to be pre-packed in their own waste container. A paper wrap is used to describe the contents. Once all of the items have been used they can then be placed back into the Bio-Bin which can then be temporarily sealed, or if filled can be permanentley sealed. All of the used metal instruments are sent through a Rotoclave system where the metal is Sterilised and then reclaimed, but not for use as instrumentation. A single price can be given to cover the supply/delivery of Single Use instruments and collection of infected waste. If you feel that this system may be of interest to you and you would like to more about how to reduce your waste management costs, reduce your CO2 emissions and help the environment please call or email for details. |
